Pinnacle Diving Company is an American veteran-operated English-speaking professional diving service based in Kanagawa, Japan, and we nurture and grow the best divers on the planet!
We have a passion for diving. Our adventure is exploring the world-over, our mission is to teach, train, and certify, hands-down, the best divers in the world, and our goal is to grow a competent, confident, capable, and safe dive community, that truly cares about the health of the oceans, the planet, and each other.

- NAUI Education and Training to certify new divers and advance the education and training of certified divers (why NAUI?),
- Guided and customized diving opportunities for certified divers and dive groups,

- Professional training services for educational institutions in need of a diver training program, and
- Professional/Occupational, scientific, and expeditionary SCUBA diving services.

From beginning your own underwater adventures by getting certified or advancing your diver education, from custom drysuits, equipment sales, and services to supplying heavy compressors, hydraulic tools, and surface-supplied systems, from UW videography to providing our capabilities anywhere around the world, Pinnacle Diving Company is ready to help you succeed and meet your underwater needs.
AJ is a professional occupational diver, adventure / expedition diver, certified technical diver, closed circuit rebreather diver, and certified NAUI dive instructor. He has over 1,300+ logged dives and more than 1000+ logged hours accumulative underwater dive time, mostly in cold open-ocean waters, using both open and closed circuit systems, as well as surface-supplied systems.
As an independent NAUI dive instructor, AJ draws extensively on his career-long training and experience, incorporating many overlapping aspects from the world of aviation into the world of diving, and has taught and trained both military service members and civilians alike to become well-educated, competent, confident, capable, and safe divers, who are passionate about diving and growing in their diver KSA’s.
